Rokita Lab science on display at ISPNO in Sydney

The Rokita Lab traveled to Sydney this week for the International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology (ISPNO), where we shared our latest work with the global pediatric neuro-oncology community.

We shared new work on tumor-enriched splicing across the Pediatric Brain Tumor Atlas (PBTA), and introduced TAPESTRY, our new tool for interactive splicing visualization. Ryan Corbett presented a poster on our compendium of tumor-enriched splice junctions in the PBTA, and Dr. Patricia Sullivan presented a poster on using TAPESTRY to interactively explore tumor-specific alternative splicing in pediatric CNS tumors. Patricia also demoed TAPESTRY live at the Children’s Brain Tumor Network Lunchtime Symposium.

Ryan and Patricia were fantastic ambassadors for the lab, and we’re grateful for every conversation they had with the community in Sydney. Excited to keep sharing our work and TAPESTRY as it grows!
