TAPESTRY preprint is online!

We are excited to share our preprint, “TAPESTRY: an interactive resource for exploring tumor-enriched splice junctions in pediatric brain tumors,” now on arXiv! This work was spearheaded by Dr. Patricia Sullivan, with underlying data generated by Dr. Ryan Corbett and infrastructure support by Dr. Chao Di.

TAPESTRY currently catalogs >45,000 recurrent tumor-enriched splice junctions across 19 histologies from 1,962 RNA-seq specimens, compared against four normal brain reference cohorts. Junctions are classified as tumor-specific or oncofetal and annotated for splice event type, coding consequence, novelty, and protein domain overlap.

The web app supports search, filtering, expression visualizations, and downloads, and it includes a REST API. We hope it helps prioritize splice-derived targets for antibody-based, cell-based, and vaccine immunotherapies. Try it at tapestry.rokitalab.com!
