Dylan Mach joins the Rokita Lab!
We are excited to welcome Dylan Mach, a second-year undergraduate student at The George Washington University, to the Rokita Lab 🎉. Dylan is majoring in Biology and minoring in Statistics, and is part of GWU’s Seven-Year BA/MD program.
Dylan is interested in bioinformatics research and previously used hierarchical generalized additive models to explore relationships between urban planning and public health, developing an urban health index from that work. He also brings wet-lab experience in biology and is excited to approach medicine from a dry-lab perspective in the Rokita Lab.
Dylan is passionate about using quantitative methods to tackle challenges in medicine. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing the violin, reading, and watching baseball games at Nationals Park.
Welcome, Dylan! 👏
