Jacob White is a Master of Science student in the Health Data Science program at the George Washington University. Jacob joined the Rokita Lab in the Spring of 2026 and has multiple interests in clinical research including drug discovery and design, immunology, and using multiomic data to investigate the biology of pediatric brain tumors. Prior to attending GWU, Jacob worked in academia for several years where he gained experience in addiction research, neuroscience, and clinical data analysis using REDCap. He served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the UVA Center for Leading Edge Addiction Research, a Clinical Research Assistant at Children’s National Hospital working on the COVID Outcomes Study, and a Research Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh studying depressive disorders.
Jacob completed his B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in Psychology at the University of Virginia.
Jacob is passionate about using multi-omics data to improve therapeutics. Outside of the lab, he enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and finding new coffee shops.
